Introduction

The new Apple TV 4K just got its first small discount, joining a wave of accessory and game deals that round out this week's highlights. Apple's latest streaming device arrives with a subtle price cut ahead of its November 13 release, offering a rare opportunity for early adopters.

What Happened

Amazon is offering the first-ever discount on the upcoming Apple TV 4K, available for preorder at $289.99 ($9 off) ahead of its November 13 release. The new model packs Apple's A19 chip, far-field microphones for hands-free Siri requests, and support for up to four HomePod speakers in a surround-sound setup. While it skips features like audio passthrough and 120fps output, the Siri Remote now includes Find My precision tracking to help locate a lost remote.

Why This Matters

Even a small price drop signals Apple's strategy to maintain momentum in the streaming hardware market, especially as competitors push lower-cost alternatives. The far-field mic integration and expanded HomePod support make the new model appealing for existing Apple ecosystem users, while the modest discount makes it more accessible for newcomers. Meanwhile, related deals on Pikmin 4, OtterBox cases, and the Fanttik S1 Pro electric screwdriver offer practical savings for readers looking to upgrade their entertainment setup or toolkit.
