Introduction

Apple's second-generation AirTag just hit a new all-time low price, making it easier than ever to keep track of keys, bags, and valuables. At just $23 on Amazon, this upgraded tracker offers significant savings without compromising on features.

What Happened

The latest Apple AirTag 2nd generation dropped to $23 at Amazon, down from its usual $29 price tag - a 21% discount and the lowest price tracked to date. This deal came ahead of the holiday travel season, prompting many shoppers to stock up on reliable item trackers.

Apple equipped the new model with upgraded wireless chips that expand Precision Finding range by up to 1.5 times, along with a built-in speaker that's 50% louder than the original. In real-world testing, the second-gen AirTag was located from nearly 50 feet away through two walls, compared to just 30 feet for the first generation.

Why This Matters

At $23, the AirTag 2nd gen becomes one of the most cost-effective ways to protect everyday belongings. The improved range and louder chime mean you're less likely to lose track of items in larger homes or busy environments. Additional features like Precision Finding directly from Apple Watch, IP67 water resistance, and a user-replaceable battery good for a year of use add significant value at this price point.

The ability to share a lost tag's live location with over 50 airline partners through the Find My app also makes it a practical companion for travelers checking bags or monitoring luggage during trips.
